 Executive Head's Welcome

Millbrook is a very special school.  It has an excellent reputation across its community.

Our children come first in everything we do.

We promote hard work and instil in our children a love of learning, curiosity, a spirit of enquiry and adventure as well as respect and consideration for others. We know that these qualities will help the children towards happy and fulfilled lives.

We provide a broad and well balanced curriculum with a wide range of extra-curricular activities as well.

“Teaching at Millbrook is characterised by positive and nurturing relationships between staff and pupils. Children make excellent progress in the early years from their starting points. Pupils make strong progress in reading, writing and mathematics across the school.” So said OFSTED in March 2017.

Millbrook is federated with two other local schools, Shevington Vale Primary and Shevington Community Primary the three schools work well together, each gaining from the resources and expertise of the other.

We are known for the warmth of our welcome.  So feel free to pop in at anytime.

In the meantime – welcome to our website.

Karen Tomlinson

Executive Headteacher

 Play Along

Our Pre-school, 'Play Along', has full and part-time places available for 3/4 yr olds.  We open 9-3 every day and also offer access to our before and after school club (7.45-9 & 3-5.15). Children receive free 15 hours (30 hours from September 17 subject to eligibility) of government funding from the term after their third birthday - additonal hours can also be purchased.  Contact us directly on 01257 401030 for more details.

CHILDREN STARTING SEPTEMBER 2017 - Parents must register online at NOW in order to receive the 30 hours free childcare from September. If eligible you will be given a unique 11 digit code which enables us to claim the funding on your behalf - we need to have this number before we finish for Summer - without this code we can only offer 15 hours for free until January 2018.

Please contact the school office should you require a hard copy of the website content.
